King’s Fork (Suffolk, VA) proved to have just a little more in the tank with a 70-59 run-and-gun victory over Potter’s House Christian (Jacksonville, FL).
In a game that featured five ties and 14 lead changes, King’s Fork (7-0) scored the game’s final eight points in route to the win. Khadedra Crocker led all players in scoring with 22 points for the Bulldogs. She also posted 15 rebounds and bloicked eight shots, one off of the CresCom Bank tourney record of nine held by Lakesha Tolliver (York, SC).
Crocker had plenty of help in the csoring column as three teammates joined her in double digits. Brittany Alston chipped in with 11 points, while Julissa Riddick and Adrienna McCrary added 10 points each for King’s Fork.
Ra’Jean Martin scored 12 points to pace Potter’s House Christian (14-2) Denisha Swain dished out 10 assists for the Lions.
