Myrtle Beach, S.C. — Joyce Edwards had 29 points and 15 rebounds in a dominating performance from start to finish as the Camden (SC) Bulldogs (10-2) won the United Bank Holiday Invitational 48-34 over the Paul VI (VA) Panthers (6-3) Wednesday at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.
Edwards, the 6’-3” Junior, was 12 of 16 from the floor and 5 of 6 from the foul line. Deanna Jeffcoat was the second leading scorer for Camden with 8 points followed by Braylin Mungo with 5 points, Tateyonia Harris with 3 points, Zyasia Carter with 2 points, and Morgan Champion with 1 point.
Riley Hamburger was the leading scorer for the Panthers with 8 points, followed by Sadie Shores with 7 points, Louis Volker, Brooke Batchelor, and Laura Williams with 6 points each and Anna Kunzwiler with 1 point.
