Riverdale (PA) ran into the championship game of the 2014 CresCom Bank Holiday Invitational with an impressive 55-33 victory over Archbishop John Carrol (TN) in the second semifinal contest. Riverdale will face the defending CBHI champion Miami Senior on Monday afternoon at 2:15 p.m.
Riverside put any doubt about who would win this contest away early by scoring the first 15 points of the game and building leads as large as 38 points. Archbishop John Carroll connected on just two field goals and shot just 7.1 percent (2-28) in the opening half.
Brinae Alexander led four Riverdale players in double figures with 13 points. Archbishop John Carroll had three players come off of the bench to lead the Patriots with seven points each in Bella Sorrentino, Theresa Kearney and Jessica Carney.
