Norcross (GA) trailed for just 24 seconds early in the first half before cruising to a 49-40 victory over Father Henry Carr (Toronto, Canada) to advance to the Consolation Bracket Championship to face Miller Grove (GA) on Tuesday.
After Ty Nelson scored the game’s opening basket 10 seconds into play to give Father Henry Carr (22-4) its only lead of the game, Norcross (9-4) scored the next seven points and went on to a 35-20 lead at halftime. The Blue Devils built an 18-point advantage early in the second half before cruising to the victory.
A.J. Bush came off of the bench to score a game-high 16 points to lead Norcross. Father Henry Carr was paced with 14 points by Ty Stewart-Nelson.
