South Shore (NY) won the consolation bracket championship in the 2018 CresCom Bank Holiday Invitational at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center with a 49-41 victory over East Hamilton (TN).
TURNING POINT: With the game tied at 18-18 with 6:05 to play in the opening half, South Shore used a 13-4 run to open a 31-22 advantage with 1:01 on the clock. The Vikings went on to lead by as many as 12 points in the second half to cruise to the victory.
SOUTH SHORE STAT LEADERS: Danaijah Williams and Lysha De Los Santos led teh Vikings with 11 points each. Williams also had eight rebounds while De Los Santos added four assists and three steals.
EAST HAMILTON STAT LEADERS: Madison Hayes paced East Hamilton with 25 points, eight rebounds and four steals.
RECORDS: South Shore 9-1, East Hamilton 9-6.
