Lake Highland Prep (FL) defeated Lebanon (TN) 46-44 to capture the championship of the 2019 CresCom Bank Holiday Invitational.
Lake Highland (11-1), ranked #21 by USA Today, led by 11 points early in the first half before Lebanon closed the gap and took the lead at 38-37 with 4:45 to play on a 3-point basket by Addie Grace Porter. The lead would prove to be the only lead of the second half by Lebanon as Lake Highland responded with a 9-4 run to take a 46-42 advantage with just 50 seconds remaining in the clock. Porter connected on a layup with four seconds to play but that was as close as Lebanon would get as Lake Highland ran out the clock.
Eleecia Carter came off of the bench to lead Lake Highland in scoring with 14 points. Lebanon was led with 18 points and 17 rebounds by Porter.
