Harvard-Westlake (CA) advanced to the consolation bracket championship game of the 39th Annual Beach Ball Classic with a 72-40 victory over Myrtle Beach (SC) at the Myrtle Beach (SC) Convention Center. Harvard-Westlake will face St. Thomas Catholic (TX)/Izard County (AR) for the consolation bracket title on Tuesday.
Mason Hooks, who has signed with Princeton, scored 14 poinst and pulled down 18 rebounds to lead Harvard-Westlake. Myrtle Beach’s Emory Knox, who will play collegiately at Charleston Southern, scored 19 points to lead Myrtle Beach.
