Saint Francis (GA) advanced to the Championship game of the 2017 CresCom Bank Holiday Invitational with a 72-48 victory over Harris County (GA).
TURNING POINT: With the game tied at 32-32 with 11:55 on the clock in the second half, Saint Francis went on a 16-1 run to take a commanding 48-33 lead on Kennedy Powell’s free throw with 8:49 to play. The Knights went on to lead by as many as 24 points down the stretch.
SAINT FRANCIS LEADERS: Amirah Abdur-Rahim led four Knights in double digit scoring with 17 points. Ayrnn Eady added 12 points while Olivia Swanston and Eliza Snyder chipped in with 11 and 10 points, respectively.
HARRIS COUNTY LEADERS: Jessika Carter led Harris County with 18 points, 11 rebounds and six assists.
