Bishop Gorman (NV) defeated Lone Peak (UT) 66-57 to advance to the semifinal round of the consolation bracket of the 2017 Beach Ball Classic at the Myrtle Beach (SC) Convention Center.
TURNING POINT: After trailing most of the game and the score tied 57-57 with 4:00 to play, Bishop Gorman scored the final nine points of the game to pull away from Lone Peak. During the final three minutes of action, Lone Peak had a pair of turnovers and misfired on three shots from the field.
