Dorman (SC) captured the 2019 Beach Ball Classic Championship with a 69-60 victory over St. John’s (DC) at the Myrtle Beach (SC) Convention Center. Dorman’s victory gives the home state of the Beach Ball Classic an in-state champion for the first time since Eau Claire won the BBC title back in 1986.
BBC All-Tournament member Myles Tate led Dorman with 23 points while PJ Hall, the Most Valuable Player, added 20 points for the Cavaliers. Justin Amadi, also selected to the All-Tournament team from Dorman, added 15 points and five rebounds.
John Square, Jr., led St. John’s with 17 points.
