Dorman (SC) defeated Whitney Young (IL) 59-56 to advance to the semifinal round of the 39th Annual Beach Ball Classic at the Myrtle Beach (SC) Convention Center.
Dorman was led by a trio of players in a balanced attack for the Cavaliers. Butler signee Myles Tate ler Dorman with 18 points, Clemson signee PJ Hall scored 17 points, and senior Justin Amadi posted a double-double of 14 points and 11 rebounds. Whitney Young was led by Duke signee DJ Steward’s 32 points while teammate Tyler Beard added 21 points for the Dolphins.
