Lead by 5 star power house Joyce Edwards, with 26 points and 17 rebounds , the Camden (SC) Bulldogs defeated Miami Senior (FL) Lady Stings 62-39 in the last semi-final of the United Bank Holiday Invitational Tuesday night at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.
Miami Senior had the lead at half time and through the 4:29 mark in the 3rd, 28 to 25. Then Camden went on a 13-0 run to take a 38-28 lead at the end of the 3rd period and never looked back. Haz Hernandez led Miami Senior (FL) with 13 points in the losing effort.
Camden (SC) will face Paul VI (VA) tomorrow at 2:15 pm.
