Scott County led from start to finish in a 61-49 victory ovcer Miami Senior to capture the 31st Annual Beach Ball Classic Consolation Bracket Championship.

The 2011 BBC marks the sixth trip to the Myrtle Beach tournament for Scott County (12-3; Georgetown, KY).  The Cardinals took home fifth place in 2006 and fourth place in 2009.

Scott County built leads as large as 15 points in the opening half.  Miami Senior (12-3; Miami, FL) closed the gap to four points at 47-43 with 5:42 to play in the contest on a 3-point basket by Adriel Jimenez.  The Cardinals responded with four straight points and stretched the lead in the end by connecting 5-of-6 from the free throw line in the final minute of the contest.

Scott County was paced by Isaiah Ivey's 16 points as he connected on 6-of-9 from the field.  Jorge Milo led Miami Senior with 13 points, while Allen Baez added 12 points for the Stingarees.
