Trailing 42-41 with 9:09 to play in the second half, the Cardinals (10-3; Georgetown, KY) scored seven unanswered points to take a 48-42 lead on Zach Bryant's 3-point basket with 6:12 to play.  Scott County continued the strong run and stretched the lead to as many as 19 points in the closing seconds as the Cardinals outscored Lexington (8-4; Lexington, SC) 24-8 in the game's final nine minutes.

Scott County was led by Tameron Manning's 20 points, six rebounds and eight assists.  Josh Harris chipped in with 16 points while Trenton Gilbert added 13 points and four assists for the Cardinals.

Shaq Roland led Lexington with 21 points on 7-for-11 shooting from the field.
