Providence Day captured the consolation bracket championship at the 13th Annual Crescent Bank Holiday Invitational with a 50-36 victory over Fayette County.

Providence Day (9-1, Charlotte, NC) trailed only once in the contest and that was on the first basket of the game by Aneesa Watson.  The Chargers went on to lead by as many as 17 points in taking home the win.

Fayette County (7-4, Fayetteville, NC) connected on just 26% from the field and committed 19 turnovers in the game.

Jatarie White commanded the middle for Providence Day with 23 points, 12 rebounds and eight blocked shots.  Her eight blocks put her one behind the CBHI single game record.  Tiffany Mitchell added 15 points for the Chargers.

Fayett County was led by Aneesa Watson's 11 points.
