Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA) won the battle of Georgia and advanced to the championship game of the Consoation Bracket with a 56-45 victory over Greater Atlanta Christian (Norcross, GA).

Trailing 18-17 with 3:19 to play in the opening half, Fayette County (7-3) closed the half with a 13-3 run to take a 30-22 advantage at the break.  The Tigers continued the stretch ionto the second half by scoring the first six points to open a 36-22 with 12:39 to play.

Fayette County was led by Shaquella Nunn's 15 points and 13 rebounds.  Lawna Kennedy added 12 points for the Tigers.

Sydni Means paced Greater Atlanta Christian (6-4) with 14 points.
