St. James (Murrells Inlet, SC) scored a 40-34 win over fellow Region VIII-AAA member Socastee (Myrtle Beach, SC).

With the game tied at 33-33 with 3:26 to play, Stephanie Roberts gave St. James (7-2) the lead for good on a layup with 2:53 on the clock.

Roberts led the Sharks with 10 points and 11 rebounds.  Socastee (7-5) was paced by Blake Smith's 10 points and nine boards.
