Stephenson (Stone Mountain, GA) scored a 55-47 victory over Providence Day (Charlotte, NC) in a very competitive opening round game in the 13th Annual Crescemt Bank Holiday Invitational.

The teams battled to three ties and there were four lead changes in the opening 16 minute half.  Stephenson, which led 27-23 at half, held the lead the entire second half in route to the win.  The Jaguars built their largest lead of 12 points at 49-37 with 5:45 to play.

Stephenson was paced by Kaliyah Mitchell's 19 points, seven rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Jatarie White led Providence Day with 16 points, five boards and four blocks.
